BACKGROUND: The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is to provide internationally recognised quality research driving the economic development and innovation in the province. PURPOSE: MKI wishes to solicit proposals and quotations from reputable service providers to provide Broadband Internet Access (Data), VOIP Telephone Systems, Building Network Cabling and Wi-Fi Access Points. SUBMISSION: Proposals must be emailed to tenders@moseskotane.com by no later than 11 January 2019, 16:30pm. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. Hand deliveries will NOT be accepted.

MKI therefore invites suitable and relevant firms to offer their services by putting forward their proposal and quotation as outlined in the Terms of Reference (TORs). TORs must be requested from and proposals be emailed to Ms Sinenhlanhla Ngqulunga at Sinenhlanhla.Ngqulunga@Moseskotane.Com. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. MKI subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No.5 of 2000). There will be a three-stage evaluation. Registered companies, individuals and experts involved in Job Evaluation services are hereby invited to submit their proposals.

  1. Profile detailing at least 5 years’ experience of provision of job evaluation services.
  2. A minimum of 5 years Job Evaluation experience;
  3. CV detailing the experience of the team leader proposed to be assigned to this project;
  4. Submit a project management plan, which will detail framework and methodology the project and the tools (program) intended to be used to execute the project.
  5. Quotations to indicate hourly rates (inclusive of disbursements);
  6. Submit certified copies of IDs and qualifications of team members proposed to be assigned to this project, clearly identifying the Team Leader;
  7. Letter from three contactable references with their email addresses and contact numbers.

BACKGROUND: The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is to provide internationally recognised quality research driving the economic development and innovation in the province. It does this by providing timely and accurate research to support the attainment of radically transformed, inclusive and sustainable economic growth for the province in partnerships with public and private sector. It is also funded mainly by EDTEA and other stakeholders. PURPOSE: MKI requires individuals, academics, experts who hold PhDs or post-doctoral status, and who are knowledgeable in the following sectors: Maritime, Oceans economy, Manufacturing (with specific focus on automotive, electronics, chemical, leather/footwear, clothing & textile, renewable energy, agri-processing & food subsectors), Information and communication technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agriculture, Tourism, Environment, Rural economy and Township economy, to be part of Research Quality Assurance and Review Panel. SCOPE: You will be requested to contribute and provide input on terms of reference for research projects, as well evaluate research reports by reviewing and providing quality assurance to ensure that the reports are of high-quality international standard. This Quality Assurance and Review Panel has an advisory role to Moses Kotane Institute in as far as research agenda and projects are concerned. For each research, you will be required to submit an evaluation and quality assurance report based on your evaluation. BACKGROUND: The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is to provide internationally recognised quality research driving the economic development and innovation in the province. PURPOSE: MKI seeks to secure the services of a competent service provider to develop a Youth Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Strategy Framework that identifies skills gap in the following Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sectors value chain: software development, coding, programming, hardware assembling and cloud computing to match labour market demands and entrepreneurship opportunities (incubation programs). SUBMISSION: Proposals must be emailed to Ms Sinenhlanhla Ngqulunga at Sinenhlanhla.Ngqulunga@Moseskotane.Com by no later than 28 November 2018. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. Hand deliveries will NOT be accepted. The closing date for submission is 28 November 2018.
