  Background:  The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategies economic sections; to strategically lead innovation and maritime co-ordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisage provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers.  The institution is looking for the experienced and qualifying individuals to fulfil this new role.  Persons with South African citizenship or residency and willing to relocate to KwaZulu-Natal are invited to apply. Requirements:        Master’s Degree with Economics or Econometrics and or Maritime with Economics. Doctoral Degree will be an added advantage. Driver’s license. Experience:             Minimum 5 years’ experience performing Economics (and or Maritime) related duties at a Management Level.   • Integrate all systems used into one comprehensive and secure MKI system with underpinning architectural infrastructure.
