Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategies economic sections; to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisaged provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers. The institution is looking for the experienced and qualifying individuals to fulfil this new role. The institution seeks to appoint experienced and qualifying individuals. In view of the high rate of unemployed graduates within the KwaZulu-Natal Province, applications are invited from interested applicants who are South African Citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal in the areas specified below. Requirements: A Diploma in Information Technology. Applicants must be persons who are between the ages of 18-35 and unemployed residing in the following municipalities: Kokstad, KwaMbonambi, Mandeni, Bergville, eThekwini, Mooi River and UPhongolo. Duration: 24-month contract, performance-based contract. Duties: Responsible for facilitating training at MKI Digital Centres, Assessment of learner performance, Monitoring of leaner performance and attendance, Identify and implement learner improvement systems and support, general administration and Provide support to Digital Centre Manager. Processing of invoices in accordance with levels of authority and allocate expenditure to correct supplier and general ledger account on a daily basis. Assist the finance unit with filing.
