Responsibilities:          The Manager: Statistics duties, include but not limited to, Managing the implementation of sub-unit strategic and operational plans. Coordinate the provision of statistical services for multiple studies and proposals. Providing expert specialist statistical advice to other researchers in the Strategy, Risk and Research Executive, as required. Managing and providing informed input to fulfilling internal and external requests for data. Line managing the statistics and team and taking overall responsibility for the individual development plans for its members in line with the expectations of the MKI. Oversee the work of more junior statistical staff assisting on projects. May contribute to the development of departmental systems to ensure timely and cost-effective provision of high-quality statistical services. Management of sub-unit budget. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. People Management.
