Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategies economic sections; to strategically lead innovation and maritime co-ordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisage provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers. The institution seeks to appoint an experienced and qualifying individual, as an ETQA Practitioner in its Corporate Services Unit. Applications are invited from South African Citizens, residing in KwaZulu-Natal. Requirements: Honours Degree in Commerce, ICT or Engineering. Driver’s License Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in working with the SETAs as well as proof of having successfully applied and obtained accreditation for at least one full qualification. Duration: 1 year - Project specific Remuneration: DPSA Level 10 Specific Expertise: Registration as a constituent moderator with at least three different Sectors of Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). Ability to work under extremely tight guidelines. Above average business writing skills.
