The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is Research, Innovation Coordination and Maritime Coordination. MKI’s vision is to be an internationally recognised quality research, innovation and maritime institution driving economic development in province of KwaZulu-Natal. Its mission is to provide timely and accurate economic research to the Provincial government to support the attainment of radically transformed, inclusive and sustainable.

Proposals are hereby invited for suitably qualified, professional and experienced service providers for the supply of services, including: Network infrastructure audit, design and deployment, in order to ensure adequate protection of its information assets and technologies; securely integrating MKI’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; and automating MKI’s ICT services, processes, procedures and efficiency for its day-to-day operations.

The Terms of Reference (TORs) are available on MKI’s website: www.moseskotaneinstitute.com Proposals must be emailed to tenders@moseskotane.com by 16:30 on 09 March 2020. Compulsory briefing is schedule for the 24th of February 2020, 09:00am. The site physical address is at Dube Trade port, South Africa. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. MKI subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No.5 of 2000). There will be a three-stage evaluation process. The first stage is administrative compliance, the second is the technical evaluation and the final stage is the price and BEE evaluation. MKI reserves the right not to appoint.
