Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination  and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. The institution seeks to appoint experienced and qualifying individuals, as Maritime Enterprise Development Practitioner/ Facilitator in its Maritime Unit. Applications are invited from South African Citizens, residing in KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Commerce/ Master of Business Administration or equivalent business qualification at NQF level 09

Experience: 5 years’ experience in enterprise development.

Duration:Permanent

Specific Expertise:Knowledge of education and training practices and or coaching and mentoring, knowledge of computer spreadsheets, knowledge of business fundamentals.

Skills: Ability to coach effectively.

Responsibilities: Review Business Proposals from entrepreneurs, Coordinate enterprise development projects, conduct entrepreneurship training and coaching, evaluate and produce a training progress report.
