EXPERIENTIAL LEARNER – RESEARCH (X1)

The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is looking to appoint a suitably qualified South African Citizen to fill the experiential learner position that will assist in ensuring that action research is achieved in a timely manner. The opportunity is extended to Unemployed South African Youth (between the ages of 18-35).

REQUIREMENTS:  A  Master’s degree obtained from an accredited tertiary institution in in Economics, Geography, Statistics, or related fields at NQF Level 09. Must be in possession of a valid drivers license and able to drive.

EXPERIENCE:   A Minimum of 1 year in conducting research. An ideal candidate must have the following professional competencies and skills: Ability to evaluate, verify, and edit research data; ability to work independently, accurately and to problem solve during the research project.

DURATION & REMUNERATION: Available immediately, 12-month Experiential Contract at R16 000.00 per month.

BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the office of the CEO with desktop research (Literature review); Contribute towards drafting proposals; Assist with data collection and data capturing; Assist with report writing, provide general administrative support where required.
