The Skippers Licence is accredited by South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) and enables the beneficiary to skipper any vessel less than 9 metres, 15 nautical miles from shore. The Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI) is offering this opportunity to support unemployed individuals from Small-Scale Fishing Cooperatives and Coastal Communities in Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN). This opportunity includes only tuition fee; Applicants must be prepared to cover their own accommodation and travel expenses.
