What does being selected to participate in this adhoc research-based mean for you?
It means that you have been appointed to take part in one or more of MKI research projects during the indicated 12-month period.
How will you know when to present yourself for duty?
An email from a delegated MKI official will be sent to you with the details of the project and the project duration.
How/ When do I get paid?
The rate of pay is as stated on your contract, and you will be paid only for days worked.
This payment will be made into your bank account. Should there be any change to your banking information, please communicate such at the beginning of the assigned project.
Payments will only be processed once a month on the last day of the month for all submissions received by the 15th of each month. Should the payment requests reach finance after this day the payment will be deferred to the following month.
What if there is a long-time lapse between this appointment and actual placement?
This is to be expected as projects are done in different parts of the province at different intervals. The size of the project will determine the number of individuals placed at any given time.
What if I get a full-time employment while waiting?
Please inform MKI by sending an email to recruitment1000@moseskotane.com, so that opportunities are made available to graduates who would still be unemployed at that time.
During the project: (this will assist confirm that the work was done by the graduate)
Please ensure that you sign a register with your assigned team leader in order to get paid.
Please ensure that you submit the data collected and reports where applicable, at the agreed time.
Access to Personal Information:
I hereby authorize MKI, it’s Human Resources and authorized Management team to use, review and process any personal information provided to the company during my application and employment as well as any information that I have provided in support of my application.
I understand my right to privacy and the right to have my personal information processed in accordance with the conditions for the lawful processing of personal information and hereby give my consent to MKI to collect process and distribute relevant personal information where the company is legally required to do so. I hereby consent and understand that third party providers such as Funds, Insurance Suppliers, etc. have access to my personal information and I hereby consent to MKI sharing my personal information strictly for the administration with these third parties.
