The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is looking to appoint an Experiential Learner who is a South African Citizen looking to obtain workplace experience in Supply Chain Management.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Finance/Supply Chain or related NQF 6/7 qualification, 1 – 2 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain or Finance department. Knowledge of SCM and procurement practices; Working knowledge of Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations; Sage Evolution and Excel will be an added advantage, Applicants must be persons who are between the ages of 18-35 years.
Competencies: Prioritises tasks according to their urgency and/or importance; Consistently evaluates work to achieve excellent results; Demonstrates a high attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of work completed; Communicates information in a written format in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner.
Responsibilities: The successful incumbent will be expected to assist in conducting demand services assist with obtaining quotations, provide administrative support to all bid committees; assist with the disposal and assets verification, supplier database capturing and filing; provide other administrative support to the Finance unit.
Terms of Appointment: The incumbent to the above position will be offered a 2-year fixed term contract at R7000.00 per month.
