COASTAL AND MARINE TOURISM ENTERPRISE
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

MKI is calling for black owned SMMEs and aspiring black entrepreneurs seeking to enter into the coastal and marine tourism market to take part in the MKI Coastal and Marine Tourism Enterprise Development from May 2021 to June 2021. The Coastal and Marine Tourism Enterprise Development Programme provides participants with knowledge about the tourism concepts, coastal and marine tourism business opportunities and concepts of sustainable tourism as well as enterprise development training. Participants who successfully complete the Coastal and Marine Tourism Development Programme will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Moses Kotane Institute.

The eligibility criteria/ requirements for the program:

a) Applicants must be residents of KwaZulu-Natal (proof of residence required).
b) Applicants must be black as per the BBBEE eligibility classifications.
c) Applicants must be interested in starting a Coastal and Marine Tourism venture post the training.
d) Internet access is essential.
e) Availability to participate in online discussion classes once a week is essential.
