CONSTRUCTION OF THREE MEDICAL CANNABIS CULTIVATION SITES IN KWAZULU-NATAL

The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination  and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisaged provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers.

MKI invites suitable service providers to submit proposals for the construction of 3 (three) medical cannabis cultivation sites. The Terms of Reference (TORs) are available on MKI’s website: www.moseskotaneinstitute.com. Proposals must be emailed to tenders@moseskotane.com by 30 April 2020 at 16h30. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. MKI subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No.5 of 2000). There will be a three-stage evaluation process. The first stage is administrative compliance, the second is the technical evaluation and the final stage is the price and BEE evaluation. MKI reserves the right not to appoint.
