The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is to provide internationally recognised quality research that drives KZN economic development and innovation. MKI provides timely and accurate research to support the attainment of radically transformed, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in partnership with public and private sector.

MKI invites service providers to submit proposals for an existing Mobile Data Collection Platform that could be customised for MKI in creating forms, collection of data, data analysis and overall data management.
Terms of reference may be obtained from our website http://www.moseskotaneinstitute.com. Proposals and quotations should be emailed to tenders@moseskotane.com. Proposals received after the closing date of 17 December 2019, 16:30 will NOT be considered. MKI subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No.5 of 2000). There will be a three-stage evaluation process – 1st (administrative compliance), 2nd (technical evaluation) and 3rd ( price and BEE evaluation). MKI reserves the right not to appoint.
