Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination  and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. The institution seeks to appoint experienced and qualifying individuals, as Independent Contractor Facilitators in its Maritime Unit. Applications are invited from South African Citizens, residing in KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance (with Enterprise Development Expertise)

Experience: 5 years’ relevant experience

Duration: 3 years – Project specific – to be agreed upon appointment for each project.

Specific Expertise: Enterprise Development, Training, Mentoring, Facilitation, Good Power Point

Skills:Presentation Skills and Report writing.

Responsibilities:Develop structured curriculum strategy, develop lesson plans, compile facilitation reports, conduct formative assessments, supervise student projects, Support learners to compile portfolio of evidence (PoE’s), co-ordinate work-site visits.
