BACKGROUND: The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Its mandate is to provide an internationally recognised quality research driving economic development and innovation in the province. It does this by providing timely and accurate research to support the attainment of radically transformed, inclusive and sustainable economic growth for the province in partnerships with public and private sector. It is also funded mainly by EDTEA and other stakeholders.

PURPOSE: Proposals are hereby invited from suitably qualified firms/service providers with a proven track record for the provision of Internal Audit Services located in KwaZulu-Natal.

SUBMISSION: Terms of Reference are available on the MKI website: www.moseskotaneinstitute.com as from Monday, 10 June 2019. Proposals must be emailed to tenders@moseskotane.com by no later than 1 July 2019 at 23:59. Proposals received after the closing date will NOT be considered. MKI subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No.5 of 2000). There will be a three-stage evaluation process. The first stage is administrative compliance, the second stage is the technical evaluation and the final stage is the price and BEE evaluation. MKI reserves the right not to appoint.
